Tameside Transport Collection

About The Tameside Transport Collection
The Tameside Transport Collection was formed in 1980. Apart from that there is little other information available. Apartently, the Museum houses a 1952 Derby Corporation DD42 Double Decker, plus a varied collection of vehicles dating from 1929 to the mid-1960s including vehicles from manufacturers such as AEC, Bedford, Crossley, Daimler and Leyland. Some internet sources say it is Warlow Brook, Frietland, Greenfield, Oldham or 22 Clarence Street Stalybridge, or 17 Windsor Road, Denton M34 2HA. Our guess is that The Tameside Transport Collection has moved a few times over the years -- the nature of Classic Buses I suppose.
Would love to hear from anyone who has visted and / or has some more information on the vehicle collection.
